Connecting Solar Power in English Heartland

Prysmian has provided a turnkey solution to connect a 59MW solar PV farm to the HV transmission network.

 

Working with subcontractor eSmart, Prysmian has designed, installed and tested a short underground cable system to connect the Yelvertoft solar farm in Northamptonshire with the national transmission network.

Bringing Renewable Energy to Shetland

Working in collaboration with client SSEN Transmission and principal contractor Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, Prysmian is responsible for the supply and jointing of 99 drums of 132 kV cable to one of the most remote clean energy projects in the UK.

Underground power for Orkney
