What is PRY-CAM?

Partial Discharge (PD) monitoring is a key factor in assessing the conditions of any cable network; however, the common methods can be a laborious set of tasks. Traditionally, the technologies used to assess medium voltage (MV), and high voltage (HV) assets were complex, expensive and time-consuming. It has been difficult to assess the asset as a whole and the technologies were not integrated with all the key parameters. 

But with PRY-CAM, asset monitoring becomes faster, more accurate and effective than ever before. 

PRY-CAM is a ground-breaking solution that works by harnessing a suite of products to identify the location of any fault along the circuit. Featuring innovative, wireless technology PRY-CAM allows PD testing to be performed online without the need to de-energise the system or for direct connection to the asset. PRY-CAM Grids is a high-performance system developed to remotely monitor PD on three-phase strategic assets. It is designed for continuous, real-time monitoring, and can be installed during normal operation without service interruptions.
