Making Connections: Prysmian to attend Connected Britain 2024
Prysmian is attending Connected Britain – the UK’s biggest annual telecoms and connectivity event.
This September, Prysmian will once again be taking part in Connected Britain, the annual event that brings together industry experts in the field of telecoms and connectivity to explore how the UK can capitalise on the opportunities presented by digital infrastructure and emerging technologies.
Experts from Prysmian will be centre stage in the conference sessions on 11th September. First up is Frederick Persson, Executive Vice President, Digital Solutions, who will be taking part in a panel discussion ‘Achieving truly ubiquitous connectivity in the UK’ at 10:40 am on the Gigabit Britain stage. The discussion will focus on the remaining areas that need to be connected to fibre, whether the current policy and regulation are creating the right incentives for rollout in poorly connected parts of the UK, and how combining different technologies and approaches can help achieve universal coverage.
Later at 11:20 am, Kris Roberts, Global Product Development Manager – Connectivity will be joined by Tom Boswell, Senior Engineering and Innovation Manager at Openreach on the Connected Networks stage. Their talk, ‘Using product development to improve your network quality and sustainability’ will look at how product innovation can improve network infrastructure.
As well as speaking at the event, Prysmian will be at Stand 83 showcasing some of the latest innovations in telecoms and connectivity, including products and solutions catering to last mile connections. Designed to make fibre installations faster from the network to the customer premises, our experts will be there to discuss options to suit numerous specifications.
The renowned two-day event will take place 11-12 September at the ExCel London. To find out more about Connected Britain or book tickets, visit: https://www.terrapinn.com/conference/connected-britain/index.stm.
