Prysmian factories have been making cable in the UK for over a century. We supplied cable systems for the first electric power grid and we have continued to support the network as it changes and expands. The next decade will see a transformation of power generation and we're right here to support this transformation.
The UK government has ambitious targets to move towards clean energy generation by 2030. This will involve doubling on-shore wind, tripling solar power and quadrupling offshore wind – effectively transforming energy generation, transmission and distribution in less than a decade.
At Prysmian, our century-long association with the UK energy infrastructure gives us unique understanding. Our locally based designers, engineers and manufacturing are on hand to support you with local expertise.
We work in partnership with contractors as well as the transmission and distribution operators, collaborating as required to deliver a complete solution.
