Kicking off the year, Prysmian Group UK, launched Pry-EV. Pry-EV connects the consumer unit to the charging point using its design containing a four pair screened data cable and power cores. Then in February, Prysmian Group successfully trialled its new pre-connectorised Compact Multifunction Joint (CMJ) closure for the roll-out of a rural fibre-optic installation. Finally, in March, thanks to the new resources granted by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Prysmian Group will invest in R&D for network upgrading purposes. The development of the R&D activity carried out by Prysmian is also in line with the Paris Agreement, the European Green Deal and Horizon Europe directives.
